plushie of brushbuddy, a creature from the manga series "witch hat atelier"
", a white fuzzy wormlike creature. now wearing a hat made of different decoration bands and present wrapping bands. around them is a lot of stuff laying around: brushbuddy is standing on an open hollow knight art book, sections of two paintings and artbooks are on the right side and in the background, crocheted leafy decoration and a amethyst are on the shelf as well. I just like decorating shelves with as much stuff as I can.

Closeup of the cone shaped hat. The main color is silver and in the right light it has shimmery silver stripes. It has golden metallic detail (made with an old button and gold present wrapping band). And a white velvet front in a triangle shape. On the tip of the hat a long black satin band is attached. The design is inspired by quifreys hat, one of the main characters of the story.

Last week I made a little hat for brushbuddy, in celebration of the new witch hat trailer🤍look at the creature.

Painting featuring the characters Alba and Neva from the game Neva.
They are resting in a forest scenery, plants and mushrooms growing around them, two detailed trees on the painting’s sides and a part of a pond showing at the front. Alba is sitting on a root of the left tree, casually holding her sword up in the air and watching a white butterfly gently landing on the blade. More white butterflies are flying around at different spots, one playing with Neva, who is standing on the back paws to get closer to the butterfly. Left of Neva, at the front of the painting, is a pond with some lilypads, on one of them is sitting a butterfly, that could almost be mistaken with a glowing flower. A waterfall is pouring from the top of the painting into the pond.
Four more waterfalls like this are falling in the scenery in different distances.
One more very tiny waterfall is dripping on a mushroom that’s growing on the bark of the right tree and from there spreading and finding it’s ways down and across the row of multiple following mushrooms.

The painting has mostly green, teal and orange tones, the background having warmer orange colors and the front having more warm or cold green tones, and then blueish tones at the pond. some details are painted in vibrant reds and oranges like albas red coat and some flowers and mushrooms have red, orange or pink colors too. And some white details are there as well, like nevas fur and albas hair, the butterflies and some flowers.

The painting measures 13x17cm
most of it is painted with watercolor with sometimes thicker and opaque layers of watercolor on watercolor paper. Some parts are made with Acryla gouache like the butterfly wings, Neva and many smaller details. It was my first attempt of adding acryla gouache and it helped me to easier paint layers over already darker areas without smearing the layers together.

I hate the way AI made me paranoid about listening to the music playlists I get on my recommended tab, but if it's lo-fi with a generic video description it's most likely AI... there's been so many channels posting these playlists in the past 6 months and most of them won't even disclose it

wahoo another baccano fan!!! I'm glad I decided to watch it, the pace and story on that show feels like having a spa day for my brain (watched the opening so many times I love it)

Also yes watch Look back at some point! I'm not much of an artist myself but felt like going back to drawing bc of it

it was overall a good experience that kept getting better as I piece more things together. And for Look Back idk what I was expecting but what I got was a love letter to art and manga itself with a few good lessons to reflect on, recommended. Frieren and dungeon meshi as honorable mentions

Been thinking about all the shows I've watched throughout the year, 2024 was mostly anime and I got to watch some of the anime that are now part of my favourite shows, but two of them stuck with me, Baccano and Look Back. The first one showed me how fun and charismatic fragmented storytelling can be

webfishing is fun, if animal crossing was about fishing with your friends and exploring the woods.

you also make ac villager noises when typing in chat and it works really well cross region. 2nd pic is me catching a 12m manta ray that wouldn't fit on my screen lol
