While we were all protesting the cuts to Medicaid and SNAP in the big ugly bill, were we diverted from the massive infusion of funds to ICE to round up, imprison, and deport hundreds of thousands of our neighbors, often without cause? I feel like I didn’t pay enough attention to the latter.

The DoD schools were started by Harry Truman after he desegregated the US military in 1948. The DoD schools were on bases in the South so the children of people stationed at those bases did not have to go to local segregated public schools. This is a disgrace.
