The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.

Heads up @mta.maryland.gov Metro riders. We need to have a shutdown on Friday evening and Sunday to allow for testing of the new vehicles. We will be operating on Saturday and Metro is a good option to get around during the Maryland Cycling Classic!

wifi is very very good

the bathroom facilities need some work

even leaving Baltimore through the B&P tunnel was smooth and quiet. the door gap fillers are ridiculous because they're not level with the station. it just makes a tripping hazard at DC the way it sticks up. I give it 8/10

not a huge fan of the blinds because they block two rows, but they're better than the curtains. wifi is extremely fast, upload especially is very good and better than my internet at home (thanks Xfinity). ride is butter smooth and extremely quiet inside. 2/?

overall, seats are actually pretty good. amfleet is more plush but these will break in. more comfortable than the outgoing acela for sure. acceleration is very fast, HVAC is quiet enough and very chilly. the cafe seems nice too, bathrooms are a huge upgrade. 1/?
