I just finished All's Well by Mona Awad and I desperately need to discuss it with someone else who has lived with chronic pain (holy shit holy shit)
I recommend this book emphatically to a very specific type of person (spoonies who love dreamy horror)

A very tall mushroom - standing almost a foot tall, with a thick white stipe and a large, spherical yellow cap - grows in front of a wall of blue-green and yellow lichen and dead moss. The large yellow cap, which at its margins is just barely separated from the stipe, is covered in raised white patches.

The lichen and moss surrounding this beautiful yellow Amanita created an awesome scene
