YES YES YES are you thinking as a game, or as something else entirely??
Artist's books tend to be limited runs or one-of-a-kind objects. They tend to be critical of "book as institution", and often have a sense of playfulness. And I think there's a lot of fun inspiration to be had for if we're thinking of TTRPG books as art objects!

I told you the lineup was absolutely stacked.

World without end by Julie Chen
A triangulage book with angled, swirling text on the pages (found maps) and pop-out strips, that spins on an axis suspended a metal rod on a crescent-shaped, wooden stand to form a diamond-shaped globe.

Plinitude, by M.L. Van Nice

there are a lot of posts like this going around and it's VERY EXCITING TO ME, an artist's book nerd π€© Artist's books are art objects that are *book inspired*
Please, follow me on an journey through some artist's books that I think would make killer (and commercially maniacal) TTRPG book formats π§΅

Absolutely wild to be on a panel with these stars.
this is rad and I got jumpscared by the mention of the show I was in and also now I really want to recontextualize that show (and the reactions to it) in the broader narrative and evolution of TA
