The average electric car battery can store 110 McDonald's cheeseburgers

29.07.2025 13:28 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There are even 100+ MP cameras that bin 3x3 pixels down to around 12 MP, but it's much less common
04.07.2025 07:29 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Most flagship smartphone cameras do this by default. Their main sensor is usually over 48 MP but bin down to something like 12 MP, which gives a more appropriately sized image with less noise and higher detail per color channel. Doesn't even affect the exposure since it just takes the average

Wow, I'm impressed you got something so conceptually "non-realistic" looking that much like a complex reflection! Just goes to show that pretty visuals are often best achieved with tricks haha. It looks incredible! 🤩

What are you using for the reflection? Cubemap with precomputed roughness or something more complex? It looks very beautiful
This can be solved using interfaces, but it's not nearly as obvious of a solution as const and also only works for types that inherit from an appropriate interface whose contract is "read only". Works fine for the standard library collections though (which inherit from IReadOnly interfaces)

By far the best video on quaternions! Explaining 2D rotation as a complex number was the perfect stepping stone! Also great that you explained that quaternions are an encoding of angle-axis, that was what made it click for me when playing around with the 3b1b interactive lesson!
