I fell out of pokemon games years ago now, so all I get out of em is the designs.
The new 3 starters are the first starters in a while where I like all 3. Typically theres a stinker or 2, but the new 3 are all solid. Wouldnt say theyre the best designs or anything, but theyre simple in a good way

Proko on youtube has been a HUUGE help! Starting with the bones first and then muscles, learning their forms and where they connect on the skeleton.
Another one is Sinix on youtube with the “anatomy quick tips” videos. Less informative than proko, but helps simplifying it for stylization
Once I found out that improving at art was actually 10% drawing and 90% actually understanding fundamentals and how they work, improvement became so so soooo much less daunting.
Art that I used to think looked impossibly impressive make so much more sense now, would recommend to anyone to try it
