Also, so many welcoming and excited members/teachers within the crystallographic community, that arrange workshops, share knowledge and ideas, and bring new members to this fantastic field. 💎
I am incredibly honored to recieve this prize!
Greatly looking forward to attending @iucr2026.bsky.social

I have many people to thank for all the learning and exciting research over these past years. First and foremost though, is my crystallography mentor and great friend
@keninge.bsky.social
Det är likadant med universitetslokaler... 🥲
Like "transmissionselektronmikroskopi"... ⚡️
Yeah, I feel like there are a fair amount of three-word compounds in Swedish that look quite silly. 😅✌️
The fact that more than twice the input makes it through, impressive!
Also, "2q" and (especially) transmittance for a PXRD pattern is some of the most cursed science things I've seen... 🫡
Damn, I need to ramp up my detector settings! 🙌
Registration for the 11th European Crystallography School (ECS11) is now open! Topics: single crystal XRD, powder XRD and 3D electron diffraction. Details can be found at ecs11.org and registration at docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F.... We hope to see you in Stockholm!
Registration for the 11th ECA crystallography school is now open!
It will be held in Stockholm on the 28th of June to the 4th of July and will give practical experience of solving and refining data from both powder, single crystal and electron diffraction.

¿Cuál es el primer GIF que os sale cuando ponéis vuestra profesión?
This is why you can't afford RAM anymore
Damn, the data buffé that follows! 🥳👌👌👌
What the... that is sooo many 😂🙌🙌🙌🫡
😡 #chemchat
Yeah, saw that too, just seems like a weird concious choice! Thanks for sharing either way! 🙌 It would be cool to plot something like mining relative to abundance in the earth crust!
Cool indeed! Just bugs me that it's iron ore and not equivalents of iron... (for iron only). 🤠
Came here to post this! 😂👏
The youths these days... 😮💨
Open PhD position in Tom Willhammar’s group on MOF synthesis and advanced electron crystallography @stockholm-uni.bsky.social, which I will co-supervise. Please spread and apply if interested!

New XRD book:
What in the... crazy when default Excel "processing" would do a better job. 🤯
Congrats Stefano! Looking forward to seeing all the great things you'll be working on - they are lucky to have you! 🥇
Nobel Day is here!
The work on Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2025. Research on MOFs has been going on at Stockholm University for twenty years.
Read more about our basic research on MOFs aiming for future solutions. #NobelPrize

Woah! 😍
Signal Absent Despite Abundant Sample Spectroscopy 🥲
When you collaborate with proper organic chemists. #chemchat #chemsky
Meanwhile, me at the brink of tears when my dreamed-up 1-step material synthesis doesn't work by the fifth attempt. 🥵
And another one is out: a crystallographic and fundamental solid-state study of size-dependent properties in porous materials. A fun adventure that required quite a bit of coding - learned a lot in the process!
