Could be long. I thought there was an anti depressant that could help ADHD - do you know it? I’d I go private then, just as you said I can’t transfer the diagnosis to the nhs.
So, spoke to the dr, on waiting list to get a formal diagnosis. No checking bloods etc to see if something else is going on. 🤨

Do you have medication now or strategies instead? My inability to say no is killing me.
So what did you do next? I am convinced I have adhd and a friend who specialises in this area said she thinks so too. I’m unclear what to do as I feel permanently overwhelmed, overcommitting, can’t start new tasks, sabotaging things etc. As I have gotten older it’s like I don’t have the energy.
