Silly drag name I thought of: Macramé West

Yeah, I use an HDMI to AV adapter, and that goes into an AV to RF modulator. I set the raspberry pi to stretch everything to 16:9 so the HDMI to AV adapter smashes it back down to 4:3 .

Sadly, that seems to be the case.

The VZ200 is a homebrew effort to re-imagine the Vtech Laser 200 by Mr. Collins of Z8D Homebrew Computers, and it was awesome to see this prototype demonstrated! Really looking forward to the next evolution as it just keeps getting better!

General Electric 9" CRT TV set from the late 70s or early 80s. It has a thick bezel and the case is simulated woodgrain.

This beautiful 9" TV set is now officially the coolest little TV I own. Thanks to the CRT Collective in WI for it! (It was free anyway, but I traded a nice 17" Gateway CRT computer monitor for it)

Yesterday was the fantastic Janesville, WI Hedberg Library show put on by Wisconsin Computer Club. Here are a bunch of photos I took!

This galaxy is VERY tiny—much much smaller than our own Milky Way—& incredibly distant. But we can see it AND distinguish its shape!

How?

The light we see from it is from SO LONG AGO that the Universe was MUCH smaller at the time: we see it as it was when it was close enough to us to look big!! 🤯
