Happy Birthday to R.L. Stine! The Goosebumps and Fear Street series furthered my love of reading and helped me along the path to the horror-loving adult I am today. I read the pictured books as a teen but am going to reread them later this month.

Everyone talks about goosebumps and scary stories to tell in the dark but I want to know if anyone else had experiences with these books too?

We have broken out the Halloween books, decorations, and costumes at the #LittleFreeLibrary #SkyView in #FerndaleWA. First the books: lots of Goosebumps books by R.L. Stine. Decorations include new lights, two ghosts, and our skeleton mascots. This brings us to the not-too-scary hats and capes.

Just answered a question on this panel and RL Stine was like “that’s a good answer.”

So I got that going for me.

And today I get to be a children’s librarian for a bit. I have rearranged all the displays, putting out the spookiest books I could find. It’s all RL Stine, Christopher Pike, and Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark as far as the eye can.

Anyways did anyone read this book as a kid

Apparently Tubi will be debuting a movie called "R.L. Stine's Pumpkinhead" on October 17th (based on an episode from RL Stine's The Haunting Hour show).

Vintage 1920s (earlier?) Halloween silhouettes. I had two packs of these but the insert was ivory and came within a glassine envelope. They're an inexpensive way to create a Halloween mood. Easy and inexpensive to make, too! 👻

I was one of those kids that bought #Goosebumps books in the 1990s just to collect them. My Mom says I was competing with a friend. So I had a good collection back then, but not all from the original 62 book run. Now I’m working on slowly filling the missing gaps. #books #RLStine #collecting
