In 2025, we don't have that anymore -- the ruling class has decided to embrace Trump as one of them, and adapt to serve his wishes.
I think people sense that the cover for opposition from the ruling class is now gone and that's changing how people stand up, or fail to. (2/2)

I see people noting the difference between now and 2017. A big difference in my view is in 2017, entrenched power and wealth in the United States viewed Trump as an outsider, and so conflict among the ruling class gave a lot more space for "official" opposition. (1/2)
