The Parker Lake trail is beautiful time this time of year, good color along the way and across the lake. Mellow short hike too. Nobody needs to be in harm's way for hiking it.

For those of us nuts to use Macs, Lemkesoft in Germany has a shareware image converter that reads the format, the Wiki mentions a couple other options.

You remember that photo you took 26 years ago and had scanned in a moribund format, you still have that?

(I did have the original files although they were hiding pretty well, similarly finding a way to convert them into something Adobe still cares about was a challenge, but I did it.)

I prefer his phrasing, but it is a tricky bit of wordsmithing for sure.

Impressed: the noise cancellation on the new AirPods Pro is qualitatively better than the previous version. Having to use transparency mode in the waiting room here b/c I doubt I’d hear my name being called in cancellation mode.

4 for 4, but at least it was close to only being 30m late.

It’s incredible, truly. I’m limited to 3T now because of some bits of metal in my body. Another ride later this year for me, will have to remember to switch out my piercing jewelry—I sometimes think about the field it takes to make those tiny little bits of decoration deadly.

Awesome! The big magnets I’ve known have been scheduled like clockwork, for sure. (And 4T! That’s a big one!)

What’s the probability of having one (or more) of theee medical visits (all different providers) begin within the half hour after the appointment time?

It has been many years, but Lemmings was amazing

I remember this evening, weather conditions had changed (as they do) quickly on the Oregon coast a couple hours before sunset and I pivoted the workshop to a waterfall shoot. Near our final shooting destination I was taken by the fading sunset light here.
