Never. Once you learn to write decently well the only reason to use an LLM is you simply don’t care about the quality or whether anyone will read it. I’m not sure what practical application there is for quick slop writing

And if you’re a lefty you’ll never understand why your teachers decided to make writing harder and slower since fountains are impossible to use and ballpoint works better on manuscript

Just watched Penn State, gotta catch Maine now. Cerrato is so good. Strong kid - worked a couple defenders to keep possession and make the space for the tying goal

It certainly made them less dangerous offensively when Carolina was running our back end with half kids

Mike Reilly has been really good for the Canes as a 7D that’s had to do some heavy middle pair lifting with Slavin, Gostisbehere, and Miller out. But I’d still say there appears to be a sampling error here making it not the best stat maybe

Can’t wait for them to get a bit more comfortable together and with the pace. I liked Biondi there too

Sweet pass from Felix there. Is it just me or is he a little faster this season?

Gunler also had some good plays at both ends

Rough game. Terrible all around the first 10 minutes. Only bright spots were Unger Sorum and that Ryabkin and Gleb! stepped up a few times to get a good O zone shift. I’m feeling more Gleb!mentum building, and I hope he and Ryabkin start earning a bit more ice time, maybe an upgrade on wing like FUS

Seems like every once in a while he shows a flash of why the Canes drafted him, but not often enough. Still young, though

Would’ve liked him to be a little less on vs the Canes. A big part of why the Avs came back to tie that one

You could throw in Chatfield (he’s been critical to Carolina getting through this long road trip without Slavin, then Gostisbehere, and now Miller). But I don’t know that he becomes the player he is now without Gleason and Slavin mentoring him

Fishy is Aho’s most commonly used nickname. But I don’t know that one of Svechnikov’s one-offs should count for Necas. I don’t doubt Svechy said it a time or two, but the rest of the team didn’t as far as I know.

I take it as somewhere north of a couple games but south of the whole season.

I think with Petterson it really seems to be his tendonitis that’s at issue. Possibly getting better this year. As far as I could tell, Tocchet deployed Petterson/Miller as 1A/1B centers, so I don’t know what more anyone could want from the coaching there. A top-6 center has to take matchup minutes

Let’s hope he starts producing more consistently again! I really like his energy

Sure, but I’d withhold judgment for now and see how he earns more ice time during the season. Plenty of highly talented players have been developed in a similar way. Spending years with low minutes can hurt, but a few months can be good to help round out one’s game.

He’s getting some pretty solid offense from the team so far from what I’ve seen while maintaining relatively good defensive discipline (in the Carolina game against them it was frustrating how much they were clogging the D zone). Maybe Michkov is a teenager that’s still working out the NHL game

Nice apple for Limatov as he keeps improving coming off the injury. Even so, I’d say Kol shined more today. At the start of the year I would have said Kol is mostly a solid defensive guy, but now he is really cooking in the O zone. Moves around opening shooting and passing lanes and just creating

As a pure Canes fan in NC, I love Whalers night and the acknowledgement of the history. I can imagine it sucked to lose the team, but it has always struck me as better to embrace the history.

It was so fast it took them a while to get good video on it! Then right after this replay he wins a faceoff pushing the puck forward for another primary. Avramov is just fun to watch

Miftakhov wasn’t amazing early on, but his third period was very, very good. Hopefully the defense will be tighter next week (and hopefully Nadeau is ok)

Yes, that’s what I wasn’t expecting. I suppose Robidas wasn’t the best comparison, but a similar physicality in spite of size was what I was going for. Great use of body positioning and big compete

Cerrato has been our best college prospect, but I have to say I’m impressed how well Poirier has been playing. The Q is so defense optional that I really wasn’t sure if he could pull it off. But he plays a bit like a Robidas with a more lethal shot

He had a great game tonight, and he’s generally been very good to start this season

I agree, it’s not useless or misleading. But with a lot of who we perceive as higher-speed or higher-pace players it has more to do with just how frequently they get on their horse. Cross-reference it with either getting a dangerous scoring chance or averting one and you might really have something.

16.10.2025 19:36 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I feel like the speed burst and top speed counting stats aren’t always very good measures. I don’t know what exactly to suggest - maybe take the top speed per shift of a given player, use that for the basis of a metric?
