We are in September now so here is a bit of an update! All participants are currently in the creation period of the magazine, so behind the scenes we're talking, collaborating, and working hard to bring you all the slickest magazine by 2026

Q: How would communication be worked out? Would there be a group chat with everyone or only specific people? A: For contributors, all communication will be done via email and discord. Joining discord will not be necessary but encouraged if you would like to collaborate or spring with other creators. In regards to general zine updates (such as pre-order dates or status updates) that will be announced via our social media (Instagram/Bluesky/mod’s personal tiktok) but will also consider an email listing if that is your preferred method of communication.

Q: If the charity/profit is split 50/50 on those who contribute, how will you go about deciding what to do? A: At the moment of interest check it is 65.9% charity to 34.1% profit so we will be going by majority rules. For contributor applications we will ask to vote on a charity, if there is a true 50/50 split we donate to both
Q: Do we have a current timeline for contributors? A: Yes, the contributor form has the timeline and it is also on our website. The current timeline is 6 month creation period, 1 month for layout moderators, 1 month pre-order, and roughly another month of the printing company producing then shipping to us to then mail out.

Q: How will we go promoting the magazine? A: We plan to post progress updates/promos via instagram and bluesky. While Hazel has promoted this on their personal tiktok, we can absolutely also make a separate tiktok for this. We also encourage contributors to post their own updates on their pages if they please
Q: How do you plan on the initial funding/investing? A: Using Hazel’s previous method of zine funding, we will be holding pre-orders for the magazine once the magazine’s digital draft has been completed. Pre-order price is determined on printing + shipping costs.

Q: Is there any level of experience to participate in this zine? A: Nope, whether you’ve participated in zines before or it’s your first time, we will based your acceptance on your pitch for the magazine. However we do expect all participants to adhere to the schedule and communicate accordingly if delays are to occur.
Q: How much wiggle room can contributors suggest new ideas to put in the zine that aren’t listed in the initial examples already provided? A:All suggestions are welcomed! If your pitch doesn’t fit into the examples provided there will be a section of the contributor application for “other” and please pitch your idea there and we’ll find a way to make it fit

To clarify: The omegaverse is basically a sandbox with a few basic rules regarding the Alpha/Beta/Omega hierarchy but many authors of course have their own spin. Since this is a lifestyle magazine would there be one "shared" universe or ruleset. The answer is no as I want contributors to be as+
