I really like the way you integrate the old aerials and old maps. Where do you get the aerials shots? They look very G.I.S related. The map brings to mind Sanborn Insurance maps ( which I love to look at). Spectacular post!

I adore this photo for so many reasons. The color of the light in the windows along with the blues of the snow and sky gives the image a vibe that is so distinct to winter. It’s just a fantastic photo!!

As a kid I had no clue who the song was about. Once I found out and learned more about him the song became profound and sad. I cry every time I hear it.

Sounds like the most made up story ever! I think it’s hilarious when people talk about things they overheard out in public. Whenever I hear people ( which is not very often ), it’s usually about mundane things that nobody cares about. So dumb that people try to make stuff up.

I’ve heard that many people are unable to see “illusion “. It’s been a long time since I’ve looked at one so not sure if I can. I would totally agree that many people are pretending merely to avoid ridicule.

Nothing really planned yet, but I definitely have hope. I hope more people will seek joy daily (however that looks for them).I have hope that spring will be here soon and above all I have hope that soon I will still have light driving home from work at 6pm.
