I did a thing. I’m usually not good at doing this kind of thing.

I made a 2026 calendar. Lots of people make calendars. This is my one. I like to think with nice pics in it.

Autumn & Winter.

I revisited this spot today in local woodland during heavy rain, and it was well worth getting soaked through. The colours were magical, with an array of green, yellows and oranges.

The winter scene, on the other hand, is desolate & cold.

Which do you prefer? You can say both! 😆

Rainbows from the sky - quite the sight. Especially when it’s a double one!

I just love the autumn colour palette. From rusty ferns to the leaves turning golden - it combines into a feast for the eyes.

A walk around some woodland I drive past regularly was welcome when the weather didn’t align with my hopes. It wasn’t particularly spectacular but I did manage a couple of frames showing Autumn colours coming through, with lovely tones of orange and yellow.

Oh! I almost forgot. Here is a Timelapse video too of the mist flowing over these two small Bronze Age hills that were once fortified and inhabited thousands of years ago.

When I arrived here this morning at sunrise, I expected more light, but due to mid and high level clouds the light was quite limited. I do love how the photographs came out though, cold, raw & indicative of the change in seasons to Autumn.
