This is a tragedy for us because it happens so rarely. Our flags are at half mast across the country. Our police and news did not speculate, only reported the confirmed facts.
I agree our mental Healthcare is not perfect, but we are trying. Our leaders already banned assault type weapons.

Luckily the major party leaders are not politicizing this. We have good gun control, but unfortunately our southern neighbor does not and the vast majority of gun crimes in Canada are firearms smuggled in from the US.

We have gun control. The majority of guns used for crime here in Canada are bought in the US and smuggled over the border. Maybe if we had better neighbors who had gun control, everyone would be safer.
