Asahi appears more livid than usual when it comes to Amon. It was as though he were summoned by the annoying words the elezen had to offer up to the universe.

Stalking right up to the Allagan, he snarls, hooking his hands roughly in the front of his fancy attire and /yanking/ downward.

"What do you even know of my own dedication!? Nothing, is what! Because unlike /you/, I don't flaunt my devotion or sing my woes like some dramatic little prima donna upon the center stage!"

A lie. And one he should have known better than to suggest so brazenly.

Instead of caving, the rage instilled from Amon's words only caused him to puff up more, hissing, "and what do you know of /my/ duties?!"

At this point he was practically up on his toes trying to level their locked gaze, failing marvelously, chin sharply lifted and dark eyes blazing with fury.

I'd sooner forget my own name before I'd fail to recall your tremendous sacrifice and endless toiling."

However, the tables were quickly turned, as they often were when it came to these two. The hyur felt even smaller under the pinning glare of the looming duskwight, much to his annoyance.

Unable to stop himself, Asahi's lips curved into the most wretched little smirk at Amon's displeasure.

"Oh, I have the picture painted perfectly well of your many torturous millennia of devotion. You aren't keen on dropping the subject!

"So ready to ignore word of this, and yet it still bothers you," he pointed out after hearing the elezen's spoken thoughts.

"One should hope you won't be entertaining this further. Come now, Amon, your conviction appears to be wavering," his tone was antagonistic and borderline impish.

The hyur merely shrugged at their agreement. "Too many heroes for my liking," he replied with a sneer.

He'd been stalking closer and was now positioned beside the Allagan. Asahi craned his neck to meet the other's gaze, a daily event for one of his stature, worsened by Amon's ridiculous height.

"Muttering about your emperor again? Don't you ever tire of obsessing the way you do?"

Ever the hypocrite.

"Though I'd have to agree on staying out of the problems of others. Leave that to the fools among us who have nothing to show outside of an insufferable savior complex. Pathetic."

He squints, canting his head slightly.

He strode to Amon with purpose, reaching in a swift motion to twist the mask from his face before flinging it carelessly to the ground, where he proceeded to stomp upon it for good measure.

He was smug about his actions; proud of them.

While not an incident he wished to recall, it was the aftermath that caused him to wilt. He grit his teeth at the memory he conjured by his own words and instead pushed past it. Tried to redirect it.

“Will you continue to don exceedingly foolish articles of clothing each time I come across you?”
