Favorite part of your job
"I really like that my job involves talking to people in all areas of the library about how they use the Alma (used to check materials in and out, manage e-resources, and keep track of collection purchases) and how they help people use Scholar OneSearch.
When I figure out how to solve an Alma problem that the library staff have been dealing with, it's the most triumphant feeling. Getting it to work is great, but it's even better to know that I'm making other people's daily work a little smoother."

"As an undergrad, I did two summers of dragonfly research, and studied ground beetles for my senior thesis. The dragonfly perched on my finger is a crimson-ringed whiteface. If you need an insect identified, I'm on it!"

Event Overview
Northeastern University Library invites proposals for GIS Day 2025. This year we celebrate the Geo Generalist Era, where spatial thinking meets every field. From public health to marketing and from climate science to logistics, GIS is now a core skill used to solve real problems. We welcome talks that show research, teaching, or applied projects and that demonstrate the range of spatial thinking across disciplines. Present in Boston or online.
Who Should Present
