Does anyone else consistently fail CAPTCHA checks? I feel like I need some pointers:

1. For those "select all squares with images of trees" types, should you select the squares with even tiny slivers of trees?

2. Are the character identification ones case-sensitive?

Thanks to this thread, I discovered that the Long Beach Opera is dedicating an entire year to Pauline Oliveros and that one of their shows is coming up this weekend. I emailed them to thank them for this and then woke up the next morning like "Oh hey! I can write about this!" So I did!

I love parts of 6 and 7, but overall it's gotta be Symphony No. 5. The lead-up to and execution of the last movement makes me damn near euphoric.
