Submitted an application for a super art song composing opportunity earlier this week and it felt amazing to be able to use recordings of my music by my lovely friend @lindseyraejohnson.bsky.social as part of my application

Just in case it was unclear, I do not believe that the risk transphobia poses to cis women is the sole reason we should support and protect trans and non-binary people. To help with being impatient, I've been trying to paint my nails before I go to bed so most of the drying time is while I'm asleep. I'm still very much a beginner and not always successful, but I love the gender euphoria it gives me when it's finished!

I might also paint my nails aheads of my performances with Portland Symphonic Choir & the Oregon Symphony & your studio recital. It just depends how patient I'm feeling 😅

Unless you think you would find value in having another monitor, it would likely be cheaper to get a new monitor stand you can mount your current monitor to and pivot from landscape to portrait

What external monitor do you currently have? Are there additional mounting holes in the back, which are called a vesa mount?

There is so much to dig into here! I love how on 7. Can't Steal My Joy - Y'all Listen Up she leans into the affirmation & just lets members of the choir bring out their individual voice expressing what joy means to them. I will definitely be revisiting this piece as there's more to discover here.
