Casting Call!!!

I can now announce that my play, Party Time, is going to be performed at the Pleasance theatre for the Worlds Unwritten showcase.

Party Time is one of my favourite scripts I have ever written and I’m beyond thrilled to be chosen for this showcase ⭐️

I am so proud of myself to have received this email yesterday. To be part of the top 200 is a great achievement in itself and has given me so much confidence in my writing ✨

Thank God it's Wednesday.

Finding Sunday to Tuesday really mentally taxing at the moment because I have to constantly expend effort reminding myself what else I enjoy in life other than watching the Traitors.

At its heart, every great story is the battle over someone's soul.

That's your story.

If you can figure out what that battle is, it will tell you what goes in and what stays out of your screenwriting.

A little look back of my showcase at Bristol Old Vic Theatre. I loved writing this play, Waddle On, which explored the end of Club Penguin and asks the question why do young adults use nostalgia to escape the real world. I dream to take this play further one day 🐧

Back in 2019, Ellie Keel approached us with an idea for the first women’s prize for playwriting. Four prize winners later, we’re still going strong and the fight to amplify women and non-binary voices on our stages continues 🏆

So grateful to have had a stage reading of my new play, Step On Me, at the Hoxton Hall Theatre.
