#Reading today: THINGS BECOME OTHER THINGS by @craigmod.com. As the subtitle indicates, this text is a #walking #memoir, and so much more. Travel writing, personal essay, and cross-cultural storytelling. Stunningly beautiful—sip, don't gulp this one.

I love this and also: this hypothetical questioner needs to ask themself, truly, why they want to write in the first place.

Because asking the question in and of itself suggests that this is a person who doesn't want to try to get better. And if that's true, why bother? No one's MAKING you write.
