Maryland wind energy company gets approval for major offshore wind project The Maryland based energy company U.S. Wind has received approval for a major offshore wind project off the cost of Ocean City.

🚨 BIG NEWS: A major Maryland offshore wind project has been officially approved.

US Wind's project will include up to 114 wind turbines, generate 2 GW of offshore wind, and power 600,000+ homes.

Now, more than ever, state wins like this are absolutely essential in meeting our climate goals. 👏

Starting tomorrow, AIPAC is running ads in 17 states to urging Senators to oppose the resolution.

Per Noah Hurowitz of the Intercept: H.R. 9495 has failed to pass a vote in the House.

Attempt to pass under suspension rule, so needed a 2/3 majority - 256 yes, 145 no.

Those are not good numbers.

It looks like the NH House GOP will be fractured in their candidate for Speaker. Dems will have leverage. #NHPolitics
