I'm getting some results on the issue of excessive noise next door. Wanted to say I'm appreciative the mine and District are taking me seriously. It's quiet again today here and I'm loving it. There's dogs living in every direction of me but there's only one household making constant noise.

Two incidents killed two mine workers in BC last week. It's a reminder how important safety culture is, even if you do everything seemingly right bad things can happen. The safety culture stepped up at the mine here over the last 10 years. Sometimes all the red tape is annoying but it's for YOU!

A bizarre and historic bear attack happened in Bella Coola yesterday injuring 11 from a school group. When I asked my friend how the bears have been there this year he said he shot one inside his own house 2 months ago! He said tolerance towards bears in the community has changed overnight for many.

Atmospheric river smacking California today while we wait for our turn to come this weekend in British Columbia. Northern and coastal BC are getting some precip today but the party comes by Friday for most of us. Unfortunately there's a risk of arctic air moving in after all this resolves.
