He isn't going to be McEntyre. Killer Kross is just a low rent knock off of other wrestlers he's worked with in the past.
He has a bad back and doesn't like taking bumps.

Speedball had A LOT going for him. First of all, he's friends with like... 90% of that locker room.
That was his advantage.
It's also why I see him in a trios match at Forbidden Door.

What I am trying to say is "Did they move the needle?" "Did their following come over to AEW?"
The answer is no.
There are clear divides between the fandom. WWE fans and AEW fans.
The WWE fans won't go to AEW just because one person jumps.
BUT, we have seen that AEW fans WILL JUMP.

The difference comes in the fact that Oku would go to NXT. in AEW, he would be in ROH for a little while.
You aren't putting Oku on Dynamite his first night. He ends up like Athena.
And probably the one that beats Nick Wayne for the TV title.

So, you can relate this to Malakai, to Miro, to Mercedes, to Andrade.
All had some kind of support in WWE. A subset of the audience.
None of that audience followed.
Kross will be no different.
I think, only Swerves audience followed. But he's a DEFY guy.

From what I know he is not signed, but AEW retains first rights to his signature when his Rev Pro deal expires should he want out of Rev Pro.
Both Oku and his wife have adamantly expressed their desire to work for AEW instead of WWE.
But money talks. There will be a bidding war for them.

Oku's not signed. Even to a date by date. He's still very much with Rev Pro.
He isn't on a tiered deal that I have heard.
I'll ask around though.

I've largely spoken a bit about this earlier with major names in the industry.
Save the money for Michael Oku.

Kross can't hang in the long run. I had a conversation about this a bit ago with some well known names in the industry.
Kross's "Groundswell of support" is largely a WWE subset, won't crossover like Mercedes didn't crossover.
Without any of that, you don't pick him up. Back to TNA with him.

Look, you pick up Fletcher, and you sign Kross. You use the swell of support Kross has with the WWE audience to INCREASE YOUR AUDIENCE, and give him some kind of a push on TV. Not a title or anything.
But you give him something small. You can pair him with King and Matthews.
Something like that.

I don't want to be social today, but theres flooding where I am, so I can't be social even if I wanted. I was suppose to go and do some stuff for some people, but the flooding cancelled those plans.

I live on the slope of a hill. I'm fortunate to be fine. Other places around me got flooded pretty badly. The shop I go to for gaming has residences around them unflooding their cars, and making sure the basements aren't flooded.
