Many years ago I bought this huge basket at a yard sale hoping to fill it with morels. Well, that never happened but I did fill it one year with some mixed yummy beauties. Winter chants, chicken of the woods, and bear's tooth.

Growing on wet and slightly mossy wood, a ghostly white and slightly transparent fungus stands like a circular blob on a fat and short stalk. It's covered in hundreds of super tiny teeth and appears spiky in texture.

A absolutely love cat's tongue fungus, Pseudohydnum gelatinosum. This spiky transparent mushroom is so fun to find

tried the Meijer brand spam today. it sucked ass, its crumbly, soft, falls apart when cooking, refused to crisp up despite having a good amount of browning, and sticks to your pan like a motherfucker. i give it a 3/10 to 4/10. do better, Meijer
