Great lyrics! Interesting and welcome for a modern song. I haven’t heard about this song or artist before.

Today we sang On Jordan's Bank the Baptist's Cry during the processional. :-) And Soon Very Soon towards the end.

PS: I've been aiming to listen to Advent songs these days and let this experience add to the appreciation of the season. Some songs, old and new, are quite moving.

Now seriously, lamentably, I think the problem is less one of lack of education and more one of willful-ignorance. :-/

Some time ago, when my wife was listening to some old songs and Sam Cooke's Wonderful World was playing, I said if we changed a couple of lines it would be a proper Anti-Va**ers song, or a Consp****y-Theorists song or a M**A-Voters song… though their golden-god would never -ever- love them back. ;-)
