When I taught about every denomination having something to teach and something to learn from the others, these are the examples I often give of the Church of Rome.

Convicted in absentia of nothing more than association and speech, after 8 months of detention without charges.

God of justice, truth, and faith, we pray for those facing injustice, give them strength and hope. We pray for teachers and leaders, guide them in truth and honesty. We pray for those who feel discouraged, remind them that you are near. We pray for the church, that we would rest in Your justice.

Thankfully, I found a sound clip of someone saying it correctly before I arrived, and then confirmed it was right with a member of staff at the Suffolk Food Hall whilst buying a coffee. H took another year to learn, though, it’s a funny one 😆

I’ve used the Daily Prayer app on and off for a couple of years and appreciate it, especially the music element. To gain a familiarity with the main Common Worship: Daily Prayer volume, I’ve been using it, plus a physical Bible. I’m really enjoying the way it slows you down, the lack of screen etc.

I tried to explain recently to someone that the lack of racial diversity is a reason *to* have conversations around a racial justice, not a reason to shelve them. We in rural Suffolk, where racial diversity is low, but it’s important for us to be aware of why that is. It isn’t an accident.

I wonder if you mean when you look today you can only see three days back? I’ve not noticed this before - usually I can go back a fair way. I’ll make a note to check the settings over the weekend. Setting up a feed here is quite involved so perhaps and perhaps something needs tweaking.

I’m not sure what BlueSky’s own limitations are but I didn’t set it with a limit.

I’ve taken ADHD medication for the last three years and it has really helped with my concentration, learning to drive, being better at listening etc.

This week I’ve tried a slow release version of the same medication and wow! Apparently this what it’s like for your brain to not fizz all the time?
