What a busy week! Our fab HMIE report was published, P7 pupils received the sacrament of confirmation from Archbishop Nolan, P5 released the brown trout they have been harvesting with Clyde In the Classroom, our gymnastics team won 1st place medals at a schools event & we celebrated World Book Day.
Our p6s were having great fun creating circuits today!
To celebrate the feast of St Brigid, our children could dress down today. Some of our children wore their traditional cultural clothing.
Finally, we are very proud to present our Head Teacher Award winners this week. Lots of hard work, kindness and respect being recognised. Congratulations everyone 🎊
On Thursday our Language Ambassadors presented an assembly to promote Languages Week from 2nd-6th Feb. They told us that there's a staggering 20 languages spoken at St. Brigid's! Very impressive. Each week we will focus on how to say HELLO and THANK YOU in one of our languages. This week is Mandarin

On Wednesday, Primary 5 went to Glasgow Science Centre to learn more about their #ClydeintheClassroom project. They learned about how to look after their fish eggs in the hatchery before exploring the rest of the Science Centre.
Well done to ZA in P4 who received a Blue Peter badge for the artwork she sent to them connected to reading books! Well done, we are so proud of you!
Primary 3 worked in small groups, each with some instructions and a paper bag. They were exploring the environment for signs of autumn and they gathered lots of interesting leaves, branches and acorns. They thoroughly enjoyed being outside and learned about the changing seasons.
