Maybe Eijirou actually would ask him out this time. It would be a step in the right direction from ignoring him most of the time. He had time, though, homecoming was still two weeks away. 

And he had a game to worry about first.

"I don't know dude. Denki is different. He's not as..." 

"Emotionally unavailable?" Tetsu offered, grinning. Eijirou elbowed him in the ribs. 

"Shut up, man," Eijirou said, sighing. "Maybe I will. I haven't decided."

He had been dating Denki since the end of last year's season. They worked well together, and Tetsu was a bit obsessed with his boyfriend. Eijirou couldn't blame him. At least he had the balls to ask him out.

"You'll never know if you don't ask," Tetsu said. "I thought Denki hated me before I asked him out. Now we've been dating for almost a year," he stated. Of course Tetsu would take now to talk about his boyfriend.

"You actually going to ask him this time?" Tetsu asked, glancing over his shoulder at where Eijirou had been looking. 

"I don't know, dude," Eijirou sighed. "He has made it pretty clear he hates me and football," he explained, shrugging."Don't want to give him a reason to hate me more."

He honestly felt a bit bad for the girl, especially because he knew that Tenya Iida, another student in their year, was practically in love with her. But, of course, she was focused on him.

"She does remember that she's not exactly my type, right?" Eijirou asked, shaking his head. Uraraka asked him out to every dance or party they had. He had declined every time, secretly hoping he would get up the courage to ask Katsuki, but never actually doing it.

"She's been totally eyeing you dude! Mina said she was thinking of asking you to homecoming," he explained, crossing his arms. Eijirou sighed and matched his posture, shaking his head. “Just like last year.”

"She- what?" Eijirou asked once he had regained his composure. He chanced a glance to where Katsuki had been sitting. The blonde was frowning in his direction. Not a good sign.

He blinked and tuned back into what his best friend was saying.

"So you heard that Uraraka is planning to ask you out?" Tetsu asked, grinning when Eijirou choked, slapping a hand between his shoulder blades.

"Eijirou!" Tetsu said, standing in front of him now, close to his face. "Dude, are you even listening?" He asked, waving a hand in front of his eyes. 

"What? Yeah, yeah, dude, I'm listening," he said, clearly unfocused on the conversation.

Deku was a wide receiver and he was insanely quick. He and Eijirou were friends, and he was also the only person Katsuki didn't blow off every time he attempted to talk to him. In fact, Eijirou had seen Deku get on Katsuki's bike before!

Eijirou was enamored. Who wouldn't be; Katsuki was attractive, intelligent, and oh so unavailable. He made it clear he did not care about a single person in the school, including the only person who dared to talk to him regularly; Deku.

There was only one thing he got distracted with when it came to football, and it came in the form of a person. Katsuki Bakugou was always distracting. From the leather jacket, to the loud bike, to the spiked hair, and even the pair of reading glasses he wore in class.

He spent as much of his time as he could at the gym or the field. He had to be strong, he had to be unmovable. He didn’t spend nearly enough time on schoolwork, but when it came to football, everything came easier. It was just easier to focus on what he was good at.

And he achieved it, through a lot of hard work and determination. He was the starting Left Offensive Tackle, in charge of protecting their Quarterback's blind side, and making sure that the plays were able to be completed. He was good at his job, and he knew it.

Kirishima Eijirou lived and breathed football. Since he was a kid, all he wanted to do was play in high school. It seemed a little silly, but it was his dream. He would do anything to play for the team.

He wasn’t sure exactly what he wanted to do, but he was sure he would figure it out soon. 

For now, he stuck to himself. Outside of his parents, he only talked to Deku. He intended to keep it that way.

He had gotten a job at the local coffee shop in Sophomore year as a barista. He learned to bake there, making the pastries the shop sold alongside the coffee’s. He practically ran the place by Junior year. He focused on his studies to eventually get into a higher education someday.

As long as he wasn’t hurting anyone and was doing something with his life, they were there for him. When he wanted to learn to cook, his father taught him. When he wanted a motorcycle for his birthday, his parents had gotten him an old one for him to fix up.

He grew up running through dorm building halls, sitting quietly in lectures, and being taken out to bars. His parents weren’t perfect, but they gave him a good life. He had a great childhood. His parents were supportive in everything he did, for the most part of course.

He was raised by two college students, alongside Deku, who's mom also got pregnant around the same time. Their moms were best friends for this reason, always sticking around together, especially after Dekus dad left.

He hated football players, football games, cheerleaders, he even hated the band that played for the football games. They were overhyped and under deserving.

His parents were high school sweethearts. His mom got pregnant their senior year of highschool. His father was ecstatic.

Half want to write pieces exclusive to this place so I'll have some original stuff here and not just repeats from TXXtter. BUT I also don't know if that will help me at all here... Just don't know what to do lol.
