post text: “I honestly can't even think of words to describe how vile this is. Here's a screenshot of what I now see when I search "lgbt" with my VPN switched off. Occasionally a banner appears at the top of the screen saying something about needing to verify ID to access "mature content" but the button doesn't even work. The fact that we're now considered "mature content" makes me feel sick.”

what a shocking and unexpected turn of events!

In one incident that several soldiers said occurred early in the deployment, 60 troops were awaiting transport to planned immigration raids in Ventura County when a Latino soldier approached officers in charge of the mission. He told them that he strongly objected, and he offered to be arrested rather than take part in the operation. Eventually, they said, he was reassigned to administrative tasks. Officials at the military’s Northern Command declined to comment about the incident.

This is a pretty significant thing for a soldier to do.

black & white, surreal, there's like a lot of muscle texturing and then stark white foreground on black background, a kind of noisiness, multiple eyes, some mouths and teeth. It kind of looks like a jaw, with a seal on top with the word "yes" inscribed into it, then a torso where a massive eye is in the middle of the chest which is attached to a head which is vomitting up a second head, and, then there's hair which turns into muscle then into perhaps a skull at the bottom right of the image. Things!
