I went to the VLA to shoot C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) over the array of radio dishes, and while I was there, there was a SpaceX launch in California. Not long after launch the plume was illuminated by the setting sun. #astrophotography

NGC 3572 was recently an APOD, but this is not the photo that was the APOD. This is my photo own, I took the image with my Celestron EDGE HD 11" remotely from Chile. If you look up the APOD, you will see that mine is in much better focus. hmmm, maybe I should have sent it in ;) #astrophotography

NGC 6164, known as the Dragon's Egg Nebula, is an emission nebula located in the constellation Norma. The nebula was discovered by astronomer John Herschel in 1834, and is approximately 3,870 light years from the Solar System. Captured (by me) remotely in Chile. #astrophotography

NGC 2467 is a star-forming region whose appearance has occasionally also been likened to that of a colorful mandrill. It includes areas where large clouds of hydrogen gas incubate new stars. -Wikipedia. I took this image recently. To me, it resembles an SHO #Bluesky Butterfly! #astrophotography

to get attention? its because they GOT attention. Beavers slap their tails when alarmed.

widefield, narrow band, deep sky image of some nebulae and star clusters in Gemini on the boundary with Orion. At centre is IC 443 the Jelly Fish nebula, and in the upper right is NGC 2174 the Monkey Head nebula. The cluster in the upper left is M35 with NGC 2158 adjacent. #astrophotography

The Vela Supernova Remnant is a giant shell of gas and dust in the constellation Vela that's visible from the southern hemisphere. The remnant is nearly 100 light-years across, which is 20 times the diameter of the full moon. #ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY

The Lagoon And Trifid Nebulae in the Galactic Core. The Lagoon and Trifid are estimated to be between 4,000–6,000 light-years away from the Earth. Within the Trifid there is a stellar nursery full of thousands of embryonic stars. #astrophotography

IC 410 is located 12,000 lightyears from Earth in the Auriga constellation, and is nicknamed the Tadpole Nebula because of the tadpole-shaped clouds of dark dust that appear to be swimming towards the centre. #astrophotography . I took this last night with HA,S2 and O3 filters.

Sharpless 2-240 also known as the Spaghetti Nebula, or SNR G180.0-01.7, is a supernova remnant (SNR) in the Milky Way, straddling the border between the constellations Auriga and Taurus. I took 25 hours of images with a dual band filter to bring out the finer details in Ha and O3 #astrophotography

Straight out of the S30. Just cropped a bit. No post processing. This is what we can expect during our public astronomy nights. The clouds don't help.
