Just registered for my first course at Athabasca University in the Masters of Education program! I honestly think that everyone should immediately start re-skilling for jobs that will buy time during AI layoffs. That extra decade or two of employment is, in fact, going to make quite the difference.

If any journalists in my network want to meet an OSINT company CEO, he's open to interviews.
He just made his company's main product publicly available for free to help people trying to support the safety of Canadians in Mexico.
The CEO is currently a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces.
I've been offered a last-minute seat in the Black Horizon war game. Featuring US Lieutenant General (Retired) Milford H. Beagle Jr. It will run Feb 25-Feb 26 and I have cleared my schedule. Luckily it's on US Central Time, so it starting at 9am means I still get to wake up for a leisurely 11am.

Happy to say I will be in Toronto in May, speaking at the "Madness, Mysticism, and the Reenchantment of Psychology" conference at York University, May 14-16, 2026.
The conference is organized by American Psychological Association's Division 24 society.
Two in-person events coming up in Halifax:
1. On Sunday at 3pm, I'm hosting a networking potluck at my apartment. Around five registered so far.......
2. On Tuesday at 5pm at CoWork Halifax on Quinpool, I've organized a lecture by Ukraine War activist Anton Kats. Around ten registered so far.....
Was grateful today to be invited to an art gallery exhibit to celebrate Black History Month…….
The artist, Gloire Aelfaz, is so good I tried to convince him to become a student at the art college where I teach!

Happy to say my LinkedIn analytics have finally recovered to the heights of my 2021-2022 posts, when I was able to get around 1000 views a post, posting every day!
I’ve never paid LinkedIn (or anyone else, mind you) to boost posts. Nor am I being paid for product placement or anything like that.
After the event, six of us walked for 20 minutes in the dark and snow to the Pakistani restaurant that my Rohingya friends say is the most authentic, Baa Desi Dine………

When the livestream of my in-person talk was posted to YouTube yesterday, it had 14 views on the YouTube video. Currently it has nearly 40 views, only 24 hours later. People I know from other parts of Canada are messaging me about it. Already more people have seen the live-stream than attended it.
