For decades, most streams and rivers have been protected by designations that limit companies from polluting them beyond safe drinking water levels. A bill pushed by chemical companies could strip that designation from some waterways.

During the 2024 primary season, Young Americans for Liberty’s political campaign arm spent $150,000 to challenge three Republican state senators. Two of those State Senators, Mike Maroney and Craig Blair, lost their elections.

‘My dreams were crushed in one email’: WVU student has offer rescinded due to federal cuts As federal cuts continue across the country, it’s not just workers affected by these cuts, but also people like WVU student Gracie Hines.

“Devastating, it was like somebody punched me because it felt like everything I’ve worked the last three years for just went down the drain, like my dreams were crushed in one email,” Hines said.

The stakes are too high to NOT participate at this point.
