[She tried gingerly touching the shoulder with her free hand- wincing in pain]

"I still dont get why I'm even here..."

[Serina tried to fight the wind whipping her in the face to open her teary eyes and finally look where they were going]

"What're you gonna do to me, huh?? Where are you taking me?? Oh god- are you gonna drown me?? Shanghai me across the seas??"

[Michigan not touching the sea was forgotten by fear]

“Do I even have a choice!?”

[Her full body- minus the dislocated arm- squeezed tightly around her captor’s frame as he flew down the streets and away from her salvation]

[She shrieked as she felt like her shoulder might have popped out of place. She’d never dislocated something before- was this what that felt like??
He was still flinging her around like a rag doll as they leaped from the building. Action movies were full of crap- this stuff HURT.][…]

[Serina tugged on her cuffs. Quickly- what did she still have???
Wait…his helmet was off…he only cuffed one of her hands- the other went looking in another pocket.]

“EAT MACE, METAL MAN!”

[She only questioned after acting if the spray would even work.]

“LET ME GO NOW OR I’ll PISS IN YOUR HAND!!”

[not her proudest threat. She looked to her “rescuers”, pleading for help]

[Serina held her head, gritting her teeth at the noise and letting out another yelp at the sudden drop. This was a roller coaster she never wanted to be on.
Air squeezed out of her, heart racing with the excitement and the claws around her, she thought she might faint. She got a desperate idea[…]

[Sirena yelped as she was suddenly lurched up high. At least she didnt have the claw at her throat anymore...but she was being treated like a rag doll and talked to like an animal.]

"If you'd let me go I WOULD stop! Jacka- ah...Ja-...Just let me go!"

[She kicked futiley for his head again.]

[Now or never. She pulled back and WHIPPED that old tech brick directly into her captor’s dome, aiming for the face]

[Serina gave the red bot a look. All this because some van had a crush on her? Wait…oh snap it was THE van. She gave him another look as her fingers closed around the phone in her pocket, slowly easing it out until she held it in her hand and looked for a good spot on the bubble…]

[She looked down at his head- it looked like some kind of glass bubble? He also looked...distracted. Like his attention was on the red van instead of on her. She slowly reached her hand into her back pocket for her phone...solid nokia brick where she couldn't afford a smart whatever]

[Serina froze stock-still again, not just because of the knife's edge at her neck but because of what she'd just heard. When she finally found her voice]

"I...what!? Affection...I don't even know this guy!? Whoever drives that rig- I've never even met him or the short one!!" [...]

"Put me down RIGHT NOW you creep!! I already called the cops!!"

[She immediately started struggling- anything she had to do. Clawing, kicking, punching, swiping for his face, even cracking a tooth trying to bite him]

"Owwwww ow ow...man, how am I gonna explain this to the manager..."

[Serina's hands were shaking as she tried to dial]

Uncle? Uncle Carmy?? Robber- robber at the gas station!! Please hurry!!

[She almost dropped the phone several times]

You- what do you turn into, then?? Can you get us out of here?

[Serina pulled the cassette out back behind the station, trying to put distance while frantically dialing her phone]

I'm calling my uncle right flippin now! And before he gets here you're going to be honest and tell me your name's NOT Renaldo.
Oh god...Im hyperventilating...what's going on!?

[And started pulling him to the back] "Let's go!"

[Serina looked to her left- the drink canisters. She acted without thinking much beyond that and before she knew it a slushie tank was in her hands and out of them just as quickly when she threw it onto the stranger- cold, icy juice splashed over him. She grabbed the bot's hand-] [...]

[Serina's blood instantly went cold. She suddenly found herself gripping the stranger's jacket as she stared wide-eyed at the biker.

She hadn't asked for ID, had she...]

S...sir... Please...please d-don't use open flames in the station...i-it's against...company...policy...

[she was stammering]

[Serina didn't notice his actions until he was already halfway out the door]

It's Serina, hun...Wait- sir!? Don't you want your change??

[she tried fumbling the cash in her hand between trying to dry off the other customer]

That stuff is scalding hot!!

[she rushed to get some napkins- Ugh, that’s right, the purple dude used them all the other day!! She tried hastily dabbing his coat with her apron instead]

[Serina froze, caught in the middle suddenly

She wanted to bust herself by dealing with the till, but she’d have to walk past the other customer… she’d been prepared to mind her business, but now it was out in the open. Then she noticed the coffee dripping-]

Oh my gosh, are you ok!? […]

[She leaned in closer to speak to him]

Hey...you around here? Is stuff like...THIS normal-? [she didnt look this time, but tilted her head towards the counter.]

[The display wasn't lost on her. Would it be rude if she said anything? After all it didn't seem like the big guys had to really blend in much in the city...did this one have a reason to disguise himself? She was still staring as she tried speaking to the biker man.]

OMG OMG you guys!!!! The van is back!!!! Should I go out and say hi? Should I just mind my business?? He prolly doesnt wanna be bothered AAAAAAA I have customers!!!! 😖
