Panel 1 Goat Pastor slipping through his book sweaty and pensive Pastor: Hnngh... Panel 2 Pastor puts his hand on his face and complains while the old man is standing and having his coat pulled by the child. Pastor: Damn it! Where are those half-wits?! It's been over an hour! Old man: You know how these things go. We are a bit away from the nearest station. We could very well be here all night- Panel 3 Pastor responds angrily Pastor: No, no, no! I will not be spending the night cavorting with ghouls and demons- Panel 4 SWOOSH! The three of them look behind to someone opening the door offscreen Panel 1 Jo stands in front of the door wearing a tall hat Jo: Hey Panel 2 Jo walks forward while the child runs next to her Child: You're back! Nice hat! Jo: Yeah, I know. Panel 3 The pastor stops Jo in her tracks Pastor: where in tarnation have you been!? And what happened to the other two?! Child: Yeah, tell us what happened! Panel 4 Jo thinks for a moment Jo: ... Panel 5 Jo smiles Jo: Si the ghosts are gone for good. I killed 'em with my bare hands. Panel 6 The pastor looks at her with bewilderment while the child is awestruck Kid: Hoo-wee, lady! What can't you do! Panel 1 Jo walks past the pastor who is still in disbelief Pastor: Wh-what?! That don't make a lick of se- Panel 2 Jo completely disregards the pastor and starts talking to the old man Jo: You. Old bubba. Can ya help me pilot this train? Panel 3 The old man smiles and shrugs sheepishly while Jo screams at him. Old man: oh, me? No can do. I only know about tracks. Jo: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW!? Panel 4 the old man starts info dumping about tracks while Jo is screaming in the seat. Old man: Speaking of which did you know as of today, there are 280,000 miles of track across the entirety of- Jo: $%@! THIS AIN'T HELPFUL AT ALL! Panel 5 Jo looks down at the kid offscreen Kid: Excuse me, miss. Panel 1 Jo sits and looks at the kid Kid: You need help starting the train? Ma knows about trains! Jo: You have a mother? I thought you lived here. Panel 2 Kid points to someone off screen Kid: Over there! Panel 3 reverse shot showing the woman sleeping in the side of the window Kid: Ma works at the station over in Wildbank, w're goin' there tonight! Jo: ... Are you shittin' me? Panel 4 Jo crouches next to the kid to talk to him at eye level. Jo: You tellin' me she slept through all that soundslop? Kid: Hmm, ma's never gettin' enough sleep. Says it's because I'm "too rowdy". Once she's out, it's hard to wake her up. Jo: really now... Panel 5 Close up of the lady fast asleep. Panel 6 Ditto, but jo is hovering over her Panel 7 Jo screams into her ear at full volume Jo: HEY, LADY!
