Getting to #produce a film about community building that my brilliant sis @beccadavey.bsky.social wrote and directed gives me hope for a world brought together in small moments…and art.
Awww
What ARE you making for dinner?
Last night we were strategizing a fundraising plan for a disability-forward, kids mental health project. This morning we were texting about calls with industry colleagues. This evening she’ll be texting me about what I’m making for dinner. #sisters
Documentaries like this one written and directed by @beccadavey.bsky.social are a dream to speak about — the #community focused themes woven together through layered stories of every day people…the best kind of art for me. Narrative humility in action.
If you follow me elsewhere you know I am one half of the Ceres Productions podcast -- Reframeables. We are doing a miniseries on reframing resilience right now with some amazing guests. Today @beccadavey.bsky.social had a conversation with CBC alum @gilldeacon.bsky.social and we are inspired!
New episode of the Reframeables podcast is ready for you — 1 of a 6 episode series about reframing resilience — first up: a conversation with Jenn Harper, founder of Indigenous beauty brand Cheekbone Beauty
