Many electoral riding boundaries were changed in 2023. Every 10 years Elections Canada examines population growth in all ridings and makes changes. There are now 5 new ridings or 343 seats now. I was surprised to see ridings close to me were all changed.
Elections Canada provides info about your electoral district, including a map, the candidates & past election results. Let that inform your vote to avoid splitting it.
On April 9, a list of candidates running in your area, & the location of your advance & election day polls will be released. #vote
