Wow! Didn't realize how significant today is in Hermit Provisions/Mystic Coffee history. 16 years ago today I was at the US Roasters facory to learn how to use my 1st roaster. One year ago today, we had our 1st successful test of the new Mill City roaster & VortX Ecofilter exhaust treatment.

Nearly 63 years later and the work is not done. Let's all keep the dream alive. Remember Martin Luther King Jr not just today, but every day. Especially now.

So what are small businesses that are online-only supposed to do? The blackout is meant to target credit card companies (as well as other large corporations). But trying to stick it to credit card companies will also stick it to many small e-commerce businesses.

I always feel like the laws of physics are overreacting whenever I drop something. Like, how on earth did that little thing make it around the corner into the next room? Crazy!

The article mentions nothing about the role of native plants in the role of creating diverse bird populations. Why on earth did they study in vineyards? Cultivated land with non-native, monoculture plantings would have the least diverse bird populations. Think native!

The president-elect has stated that he "loves[s] the uneducated," and truly they did help elect him. All the easier to pull the wool over the eyes of people who never learned about critical thinking. This has been well known probably for centuries. Example: Mao's cultural revolution.

Been to North Shore MA lately? Air quality has been terrible due to all the brush fires. Thankfully should be raining there now. We're lucky the Fells didn't burn (yet).

That sounds very interesting! Are you aware of Homegrown National Park? Sounds like your work would be of great interest to that organization and vice versa.
