I don’t even dislike him, great man manager. Most if not all of the criticism he got as England boss was undeserved. If he could do what he did for England in terms of getting the fans behind the squad for us then it’d work wonders. Only problem is the change between club and int’l management.

FWIW I don’t think he’s that bad. He’s a victim of being alright at everything and subsequently not falling into a specific path in terms of role. He’s not the big destroyer we thought we were getting because he does like to get forward, but equally he’s not creative enough to be an attacker.

We have absolutely no identity. As routinely pointed out by loads recently, if we were aiming to go full on Big Bastards FC then it’s a real half-arsed attempt. I know it’s a very big reach, I’m also not accusing Farke of anything explicitly as we have Bogle playing every week and had Kamara who he was fond of, but all the ‘attitude problems’ players who he doesn’t/hasn’t favour(ed) are all young black men.

At this point I don’t even know if a managerial change fixes it, the more I look at this squad the more I wonder how they were happy signing it off as a premier league squad before the first game.

Maybe ‘by any means’ is a stretch - he’s had so many chances to better it. He’s been dealt a shit hand but that means nothing when you don’t then play to win the game.

Definitely getting more and more his fault by the day, he absolutely does not help himself. That said, it’ll always go back to the window we gave him, and the fact they trusted him in the first place despite the warning signs we had over the last two seasons.

The board gave him an absolute howler of a window, despite his constant calls for signings. PSR headroom sort of fucked us too on that front. They also chose to enter this season with him as manager. For all of Farke’s failures there’s another that falls at the feet of the 49ers.

I largely agree, it’s a loud minority that does the shit-spouting. My main concern is that the way in which we come out of this period is very much make-or-break, it’s over if fascism wins.

I’ve largely supported Farke, throughout both championship seasons and this current campaign. Serious questions need to be asked after this performance and the way we setup today though. #lufc
