Developing a multidisciplinary pathway for functional neurological disorders in a UK National Health Service: The Exeter model | ACNR Functional neurological disorders remain common presentations to NHS services. How should clinical pathways for patients be structured?

Functional neurological disorders are common across public healthcare settings.

The Exeter model is a multidisciplinary approach developed in the absence of additional funding to help meet the needs of patients who have FND from within mainstream services.

Sounds good! We certainly found ACT/Mindfulness helpful as part of our FND public health offer in the south-west UK.
