It's ok to allow Alberta to try to meet reasonable criteria to advance their project. If the criteria include industry and indigenous buy-in, an agreement with BC, and environmental protections, then the project should proceed. If there is no economic, political or environmental case, it will fail.

The bottom line is that the US's higher per capita GDP mainly benefits a small number of US billionaires, and the average US person is actually worse off than the average Canadian.

It’s been tough for Canada- our neighbour and former best friend attacked our economy with tariffs and our sovereignty with illegal threats of annexation.

Response: Thinking Searching Yes, the $34 billion total cost of the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion includes the project's own legal costs incurred while addressing and navigating the various lawsuits and regulatory requirements that opposed the project. These were considered part of the "reasonably and justifiably incurred" costs by the Crown corporation.

He also disqualified himself by claiming the contingent legal expenses are not capital costs. Try googling the TMX cost overrun and then ask Google AI whether of not that includes legal expenses.
