Proxygen v4.5.0 now comes with scripting support in Mac and iOS apps. Write JavaScript code to modify HTTP traffic. It’s pretty great!

(the website also got a refresh)
Thank you! 🥰
I’ve put quite a lot of work into it over the years. Glad you like it!
Joo juuri näin. Ja onhan Go siihen puuhaan mahtava kieli!
@gatestone.bsky.social Muistelen että joskus 15 vuotta sitten lyötiin vetoa kumpi tulee ennen, Golla iOS appien vai Swiftillä Android appien kirjoittaminen.
Me tehtiin siinä se virhe ettei speksattu tarpeeksi tarkkaan mitä kysymys tarkoitti. Esim. käytän nyt jo Go paketteja osana iPhone appejani.
Proxygen for Mac with Runestone comes with the same theme selection as the iOS app, with options for line wrapping and line numbers. All themes also have dark mode variations.

Google Play store doesn’t allow apps that support older Android versions and kicked my Beacon app out.
So I built an APK and made it available as a direct download at freshbits.fi/apps/beacon/.
This works on Android as old as 5.0 Lollipop with 2.7” QVGA screens. Basically runs on anything 👍
History and Sockets tools now allow saving filter presets. You can quickly return to any earlier filter or reset the filter to defaults.
Finally, there’s an option to use match and replace rules saved as part of the project file. This allows easier management of project specific rules 👍
You may have noticed the new List and Hex view modes.
All new List view combines HTTP request URL, query parameters and headers in one table which is fully editable.
HexFiend is now integrated right into Proxygen. You can go all the way down to byte level in the HTTP request editor 🔎
This Mac version of Runestone editor is based on a slightly older Mac branch which was mostly functional. I fixed some remaining issues in it, like first responder and selection handling. I’m planning to replace it with Runestone 2 once it comes out.
Proxygen for Mac 2.5.0 comes with Runestone editor which considerably improves rendering of long messages. The editor also supports color themes. You have the same themes available as in the iOS counterpart.
