This drill mimics real-game situations where a quarterback needs to evade defenders while keeping their eyes downfield. Purpose: • Improve foot quickness and pocket mobility. • Enhance ball security during movement. • Train quarterbacks to reset their throwing platform quickly. Setup: 1. Place two cones approximately 5 yards apart, forming the endpoints of the “8” shape. 2. The quarterback starts at one cone with a football in hand.
