31.07.2025 19:09 β π 665 π 271 π¬ 21 π 12New from 404 Media: a second data breach at Tea has exposed more than a million direct messages between users that we obtained. Discussions of abortions, cheating. The other data was older. This is as recent as *last week*. Hard to overstate how sensitive this data is www.404media.co/a-second-tea...
28.07.2025 17:05 β π 235 π 115 π¬ 6 π 30A great breakdown from @talkingsasquach.bsky.social on the new attack for Flipper Zero that can clone every key fob button by capturing just a single command. Defeats rolling codes and no signal jamming needed. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wk7B...
27.07.2025 20:57 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Had high hopes for this movie but in the end felt it was a bit meh.
26.07.2025 17:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I don't know about you but out of all companies and government entities I've ever dealt with, Amazon is by far the most persistent and aggressive.
25.07.2025 18:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Also, the ESP32 WiFi module on the top of the Flipper Zero is not needed for the hack. I just simply didn't remove it when filming. Flipper's internal Sub-GHz tool and the custom firmware are all that's needed. Makes the attack very concealable (as seen below).
24.07.2025 22:47 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0All these modern wireless key systems are garbage and it's because device manufacturers refuse to create an industry working group to make the platforms interoperable and more secure without licensing fees
Regulate insecure proprietary wireless protocols on Part 18 ISM spectrum, not wireless tools
Why this is new: Hackers previously would have to both capture an unlock signal & block it from reaching a car w/ a signal jammer. Even then, the captured signal would only work once cuz of rolling codes.
This attack gives you repeated access to all fob buttons after 1 capture, no jamming needed.
Simple web bugs exposed virtually all user data held by Airportr, a premium luggage checking service across ten airlines. The data included flight records, passports and much more. Samples I reviewed included passports for US, UK and Swiss government officials. www.wired.com/story/luggag...
24.07.2025 16:51 β π 74 π 31 π¬ 4 π 5Check out my interview where I demonstrate the capabilities of a new custom firmware for the Flipper Zero, developed & being sold for $1,000 by a Russian hacker, that can clone key fobs and defeat rolling codes www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qoa5...
24.07.2025 17:02 β π 29 π 6 π¬ 1 π 0There was a serial-lock on the custom firmware, but a group of hackers were able to remove it and are sharing it among security researchers, which is how I got a copy.
24.07.2025 16:57 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yea wifi dev board obviously not needed. I just always have it plugged in.
24.07.2025 15:36 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0NEW: A custom firmware for the Flipper Zero, being sold by a Russian hacker for up to $1,000, can bypass modern security protections on key fobs.β¨β¨
The hack defeats rolling codes & lets you clone every key fob buttonβlock, unlock, trunkβby capturing just a single command.

This is truly wild: @josephcox.bsky.social got the user manual for ICE's new facial recognition app, which appears to be one of the most powerful face rec systems ever because it is connected to tons of different government databases and surveillance systems

The researcher who analyzed it said they were "in disbelief at the simplicity of this exploit."

Trump Mobile keeps charging my credit card and I have no idea why. I didn't sign up for the phone plan. I still haven't received my gold phone. I don't know how to make them stop because the website errors out and the customer help line couldn't help either www.404media.co/trump-mobile...
