4️⃣ Big Five Personality traits and demand characteristics didn't predict the size of the AC effect. However, females showed a slightly stronger AC effect than males.

3️⃣ Cue-competition effects (i.e., whether participants were presented with cues/CSs individually or together) had minimal impact on the AC effect.

2️⃣ The effect generalised to other attributes: participants paired with healthy foods were also seen as more athletic, educated, and organised—but, interestingly, less humorous than those paired with unhealthy foods.

A few key takeaways from this paper:

1️⃣ We demonstrated an Attribute Conditioning (AC) effect using the attribute of healthiness: people paired with healthy foods (🍎) were rated as healthier than those paired with unhealthy foods (🍩).
