Returning home from a wonderful trip with @maddipow.bsky.social visiting our partners in Indonesia, including a study visit to Universitas Brawijaya and a guest lecture at Universitas Indonesia. I always love the annual trip to Indonesia and return feeling excited for our future collaborations ☀️

And we need to make sure we hear from all our students. It's likely that the students that we don't really hear from are the ones who are struggling most with the hidden curriculum #LTHEchat

A6: Despite our best efforts to demystify the hidden curriculum, we are likely to miss something. So we need to create an environment where students feel they can ask us when they are not sure about something #LTHEchat

A4: We need to make sure that we are using words in the same way. Do we all mean the same thing when we say seminar? Do we use seminar and tutorial interchangeably? How are students meant to know what we mean, if we all use terms differently? #LTHEchat

This is a super interesting point. It speaks to the importance of making sure that Open Days and marketing materials are accessible and demystify studying at university #LTHEchat
