Greys Anatomy S15 Ep19 is an emotional roller coaster.

Literally all the feelings and now i think I need a treat

It literally feels like my body was beat up.

My hands hurt so badly. And I've nerve pain from a slipped disc all down my legs.
My skin is irritated, and I ache everywhere.

So I probably won't stream tonight, and hopefully, I will stream tomorrow

Every time you put more restrictions or processes to claim disability benefits, it only harms the people they claim to support.

It won't prevent the (tiny number of) people who will still find ways to circumvent the system.

It'll prevent disabled folk getting what they need.

Swam yesterday, so today I needed to spend most of the day sleeping to recover.

This is chronic illness.

I can't "just" do anything. Everything I choose to do takes its toll.

If I wanna be healthy and exercise, it takes 2 days, at least, before I can do something else outside my house.

You can do everything “right” and still become disabled.

You can do everything “right” and have a child who is disabled.

There is nothing wrong with being disabled, and if more of us approached disability with compassion, understanding, and advocacy instead of fear, the world would be better.

Telling people to “tough it out” when they’re sick is ableism.

Saying that autism is “unacceptable” is eugenics.

Bragging about the strong people who don’t take meds or vaccines? It infers that those who need medications are weak.

It’s all eugenics. This regime sees disabled people as less than.

I was recently told that not being able to make dinner for my partner every day was unacceptable.

I am disabled. And some days are better than others.

Today, my partner prepped the potatoes for dinner because I couldn't stand up straight.

Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.

Crutches&SpookySpice Reminder: seasonal changes make disabled people feel like shit. It has to do with the the barometric changes. Or we're witches. We'll never say @DearFibromyalgia/beth

Will be slowly posting Vacation photos over the next couple of days. I adored Corfu so much but the toll that travelling takes has had me messed up since we got back!

Greek people get confused when you speak Greek to them. This has happened with 95% of the people I have spoken Greek to. I even double checked i said the right thing

Everyone is super accepting of the thousands of cats on the island. Almost every restaurant or shop had a cat friend!
