My wife and I have been rewatching OFMD and we just finished s2e3 and ugh fuck crying. It did bother me when it came out that people were like "omg it's like Stranger Things with the needle drop" and look Stranger Things did not invent the Kate Bush needle drop

I just had a crazy thought. What if Stede died from the hanging and the entire rest of the series was him in the gravy basket....

My reason for thinking the couch moment of #OFMD 2-04 is so special, is because it's when they both knew how the other felt. Ed had already told Stede that he made Ed happy, on the beach. And now Stede has said, "I love everything about you."
